Delia’s Chicken Sausage Stand opening in West Midtown

UPDATE: Delia Champion still scouting West Midtown for second Sausage Stand location
The owners of Delia’s Chicken Sausage Stand weren’t kidding when they told What Now Atlanta, Metro Atlanta would be getting several locations of the quick-service restaurant before long.

WNA learned Tuesday that co-owners Delia Champion (founder of Flying Biscuit) and Molly Gunn (owner of Porter Beer Bar) are busy working on opening a Sausage Stand at the intersection of Northside Drive. and Marietta Street in West Midtown, as first reported by Eater Atlanta.

The Sausage Stand’s first location opened in East Atlanta, early 2011.

Champion and Gunn hope to open the Sausage Stand’s second location in December, Marcus Floyd, assistant manager for the East Atlanta location, told WNA over the phone Tuesday.

“I’m surprised the news of our second location is already being reported,” Floyd said. “We just signed the contract for the new location a few days ago.”

Floyd, who will manage the new location, wasn’t able to confirm the Sausage Stand’s exact West Midtown address.
