Desta Ethiopian Kitchen is moving forward with plans to open its third Atlanta restaurant, this time in the Westside Village mixed-use development, at 2250 Marietta Street.

A permit application was recently filed with the City of Atlanta seeking the necessary approvals to build out the new Desta in the Upper Westside.

An estimated $275,000 would be spent converting the first-generation space into Desta including new partitions, doors, finishes, equipment, and gas piping, according to the plans.

The restaurant’s 2,430-square-foot space is suite 206 in Building B.

Desta has two existing locations, the original in North Druid Hills and a newish outpost in Emory Point.

Locations in Midtown and an outpost OTP in either Alpharetta, Marietta, or Roswell is in the works.
