Doodle Pies, a new bakery from Anne and Eric Mullenax, will open this year at 1105 Woodstock Road, Suite 140 in Roswell. Over email with What Now Atlanta, the owners shared that the project is their first restaurant and the concept is sweet and simple:  “A place to sit, eat pie, hang out and drink a nice cup of joe.”

At Doodle Pies, the owners invite you to “think outside the pie.” The brand offers personal, sweet pies “made on demand and cooked fast.” The company’s website shares that the concept is born from a fast-growing trend at farmers markets and exhibitions—as the customer, you choose your own flavors and Doodle Pies will bring your vision to life.

That said, you can always stick to the classics. Doodle Pies will carry flavors that are beloved for a reason. Personal-sized apple, cherry, and strawberry pies will be on the menu, as will more inventive flavors like German Chocolate and Peanut Butter and Jelly. The company has been known to whip up the occasional Pumpkin Mousse and Peachy Satisfaction pies, and savory options will make the menu too.

If this is sounding a little familiar, you probably recognize Doodle Pies from local farmers markets, where the brand has been popping-up over the last year. The Mullenaxes shared they are aiming for a late March opening of their first brick-and-mortar. To learn more, find Doodle Pies online.
