Doughnut Dollies next week will officially debut its first ITP storefront.
Grand opening festivities will take place Friday, June 28 for the Marietta-based doughnut shop’s new Buckhead location, at 1963 Howell Mill Road.
Hand-crafted doughnuts—like the Brown Butter Peach Shortcake, Buttered Popcorn, and Almond Rose—and Jittery Joe’s coffee will be served during Friday’s event starting at 7 a.m. “while supplies last.”
Owners Anna and Chris Gatti first announced the new Buckhead Doughnut Dollies in November 2018.
The company was founded in 2015 with a Marietta bakery.
Its name is a homage to the “doughnut dollies” of the American Red Cross who delivered doughnuts and coffee to U.S. soldiers during WWII.
I hope they don’t have gnats flying on the donuts like the one in Marietta does!
