A new doughnut shop will be bringing its pastries with names like YOLO, Sweet Jane, and Dollie to Atlanta’s Virginia-Highland neighborhood next month.

Doughnut Dollies, the Marietta-based Doughnut company, opened its doors at its first location in 2015. Since then, co-owners Anna and Chris Gatti have opened a second location at 1963 Howell Mill Road in Atlanta in 2019. The Virginia-Highland location will be their third brick-and-mortar.

According to their website, Doughnut Dollies offers yeast doughnuts made with their very own 24-hour Brioche dough, and their cake doughnuts are made fresh every morning.

While their flavors and offerings are subject to change, you can currently enjoy flavors such as cheddar poblano cornbread, cereal bowl, and the Mikey, a brioche, espresso cream, maple, bacon doughnut. Or, if you have a more traditional palate, you could find yourself enjoying a vanilla bean glazed, chocolate frosted, or birthday cake doughnut. Doughnut Dollies offers gluten-free and vegan options as well.

In a press release, Chef Anna Gatti said, “we are so excited to be able to share our creative doughnuts with a new neighborhood in the area.”

The Virginia-Highland shop will be located at 1002 Virginia Avenue and should include sidewalk seating and a few seats at the bar. Although we were unable to confirm an exact opening date, come May, you should be able to add a little pizzaz to your morning routine with a Doughnut Dollies pastry and one of the many delicious offerings from their coffee bar. YOLO, am I right?
