Popular Old Fourth Ward pizzeria Edgewood Pizza is expanding to the West End.

A permit application Friday was filed with the City of Atlanta to build out the forthcoming restaurant.

Edgewood Pizza will be situated in the Sky Lofts mixed-use, at 898 Oak Street SW, in ground-level retail space, according to the application.

The company announced plans to open a second location via Instagram at the end of January.

“Expanding to West End soon,” according to the post.

The location was not disclosed at the time of the announcement.

It’s unclear if the West End location will keep the Edgewood name.

Adonay Deglel, one of the restaurant’s co-owner, was not immediately available to comment.

Edgewood Pizza’s original Old Fourth Ward location shuttered for two years following an electrical fire in 2013.

It reopened in 2015.
