Los Angeles-based breakfast spot Eggslut is bringing a second location to Atlanta. Recently, What Now Atlanta reported that the chain is bringing a location to The Krog District, marking the brand’s first foray into an East Coast market. Now, a second location is heading to Atlanta as Eggslut prepares to open within the forthcoming Moxy Atlanta Downtown at 329 Marietta St. NW.
The all-day breakfast spot will join the lineup of other food and beverage concepts heading to the hotel, including lobby bar Bar Moxy, rooftop lounge Jagger Suite and a speakeasy that will be located within Jagger Suite.
Eggslut, along with the hotel and other concepts, is slated to open this location in early 2026.
Chef Alvin Cailan launched Eggslut in 2011 and it gained popularity on the West Coast. It now has four Los Angeles-area restaurants, one Las Vegas location and one Seattle location. Internationally, Eggslut has seven locations open in London and two in Japan.
The simple, focused menu features a selection of breakfast sandwiches, ranging from classic options like bacon, egg and cheese to sandwiches like the Fairfax (with cage-free soft scrambled eggs, chives, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions and sriracha mayo on a warm brioche bun) and Gaucho (with Wagyu tri-tip steak, cage-free over-medium egg, chimichurri, red onions and arugula on a warm brioche bun). The menu also features house-made buttermilk biscuits, French toast sticks and truffle hashbrowns. Slut, one of the specialty dishes offered at Eggslut, features a cage-free coddled egg on a smooth potato purée, poached in a jar, served with baguette slices.
As of now, it is unclear whether the location within Moxy Atlanta Downtown or the spot heading to The Krog District will open first.
