Atlanta’s dining scene continues to grow as several new restaurants and beverage concepts prepare to open across the city. A mix of new concepts, from pizzerias and ramen shops to steakhouses and soda bars, is set to open in the coming months.
Upcoming Restaurant Openings Bringing Fresh Flavors to Atlanta
A mix of local favorites and national brands are expanding across the metro, bringing fresh flavors to neighborhoods from Buckhead to Kennesaw. Here’s a look at what’s coming soon to the city’s ever-growing culinary landscape.
Fogo de Chão

The Brazilian steakhouse, founded in 1997, is preparing to open its fourth Atlanta location at Cumberland Mall. Fogo de Chão already operates locations in Buckhead and Dunwoody
Spanning 8,000 square feet, the new restaurant will welcome guests inside Cumberland Mall. Some menu highlights feature meat cuts and seafood delicacies, such as filet mignon, lamb chops, Chilean sea bass, and bone-in ribeye.

Okiboru

Okiboru is expanding to Kennesaw, with a new location set near Paris Baguette, Marshalls, and Kirkland’s Home. Founded in 2020, the Japanese restaurant will bring its Michelin-recognized ramen to Town Center Plaza in Kennesaw. Previously, it served in Duluth, Buckhead, and the Mall of Georgia.
Patrons across Kennesaw can soon head to Okiboru’s latest outlet for tsukemen (dipping ramen) and side items, including Shoyu brussels sprouts, garlic nori fries, and garlic edamame. An opening date has not yet been announced. Find out more about the restaurant here.
Glide Pizza
Local favorite Glide Pizza is expanding with a new location in South Downtown along Mitchell Street. The opening will mark Glide’s third location in Atlanta. It opened before in Decatur and Old Fourth Ward (at Studioplex).
The Atlanta-based pizzeria is known for its New York-style pies. These are served both by the slice and as whole pies. Each pie is made with high-quality ingredients, including house-made mozzarella and fermented sourdough.
A tenant announcement on South Downtown’s Instagram page shared that Glide Pizza will open its doors along Mitchell Street in 2026. Learn more about the restaurant here.

Swig
Swig is planning a new Atlanta location at 2960 North Druid Hills Road, following the redevelopment of the site. The latest outlet will bring a 1,000-square-foot building with a double drive-through. This development follows its recent Brookhaven launch.
The Utah-based dirty soda chain will serve custom soda creations made with fruit, spices, and flavored syrups. Highlights include Dr. Spice (with Dr. Pepper, cinnamon, coconut, and half and half), This Bliss (with Diet Coke, cranberry, and fresh lime), and Princess Peach (with Dr. Pepper, peach, and coconut cream).
