Midtown Atlanta could be getting a new fast-casual food option.

CAVA is planned for 855 Peachtree Street NE, according to a recent building permit application with the City of Atlanta. Proposed work on the vacant 4,008-square-foot space includes kitchen equipment and restrooms, plus mechanical, plumbing and electrical work.

There are currently 24 CAVA locations in Georgia. The menu includes bowls with greens and grains and a variety of pitas, along with flavorful dips and dressings.

The concept comes from Chef Dimitri Moshovitis, Ike Grigoropoulos and Ted Xenohristos, who opened CAVA in 2010 along with co-founder Brett Schulman. CAVA currently does not franchise; all locations are company-owned.

CAVA has seen plenty of growth in recent years. In Q3 of 2024, the chain reported that same-store sales had an increase of 18.1 percent, and there was a nearly 13 percent increase in traffic.
