Fayetteville-based Mexican restaurant Frida’s Grill and Bar is expanding to a second location in Sharpsburg. It will open at 15 Thomas Grace Annex Lane, Suite 200, according to The City Menus.

Owner Teodoro Reyes Llamas told What Now Atlanta that they are expanding to sustain their growing customer base.

“We saw an opportunity in an area that is growing rapidly,” Reyes Llamas said. “We are doing well in the existing location and are having two or three hour wait times, so we thought it would be a good idea to open another location for more customers.”

Reyes Llamas is targeting a May opening, though the actual timeline will depend on permitting. It will feature a slightly smaller space but a similar design to the existing location in Fayetteville, featuring murals and pictures.

The menu changes regularly, but it will feature a similar menu to the existing location. Menu items include taco salads, bowls, tacos, fajitas, nachos, proteins and seafood.
