Alpharetta is about to get a little bit sweeter when Five Daughters Bakery opens at Avalon.

The family-owned business from Tennessee known for its croissant-style 100-layer donuts is coming soon to 200 Avalon Boulevard.

Five Daughters Bakery currently has locations at Ponce City Market and Westside Provisions, and their donuts can be found in coffee shops across Atlanta.

They also have six locations in Tennessee, where Isaac and Stephanie Meek started the company named after their five daughters. What Now Nashville recently reported that a new location is also in the works in Murfreesboro.

In addition to donuts, the Five Daughters Bakery menu includes cookies and other pastries.

“Our treats are made daily from scratch, sourcing locally and fresh whenever possible, from our family to yours,” according to the company website, which also states that they don’t use chemical preservatives, genetically modified organisms, hydrogenated oils, or artificial colors or flavors.

“Coming soon” signage is currently displayed outside the upcoming store at Avalon. The space was formerly occupied by the apparel store Marine Layer.

Ownership could not be immediately reached for additional comment.
