Big B’s Fish Joint is opening in the Gateway Sandy Springs development, at 4600 Roswell Road, according to signage at the space.

The restaurant will replace the now-shuttered Verde Taqueria this fall.

Owner Barry Mills, co-founder of FLIP Burger, in an email Wednesday confirmed the news with What Now Atlanta (WNA).

Converting Verde Taqueria into Big B’s Fish Joint will require a “minor redesign,” Mills told WNA.

Seiber Design is overseeing the transformation.

Big B’s Fish Joint will serve sustainable southern-style seafood dishes and will boast a bar and outdoor patio area.

Its menu is being created in partnership with Sean Telo who is also a FLIP alumni.

Mills is no longer affiliated with FLIP in Atlanta.

He and his partners sold the last remaining local outpost of the burger chain to Hsiao Restaurant Group last year.
