South Florida-based Peruvian restaurant CVI.CHE 105 is heading to Phipps Plaza in Atlanta, with plans to open in the fall.

Peruvian chef Juan Chipoco is behind the brand, which offers items such as ceviches, tiraditos, sushi rolls, and classics such as the lomo saltado. There is also a full beverage program with handcrafted cocktails.

“It is an absolute honor to bring the flavors of Peru to new communities. I am always looking for meaningful opportunities to grow the brand and share my Peruvian culture,” Chipoco shared in a statement with What Now Atlanta. “Atlanta has been on our radar for some time as a dynamic, culturally rich city with a diverse and evolving dining scene. It’s a market that appreciates bold flavors, elevated hospitality, and global cuisine — all of which are central to the CVI.CHE 105 experience. As we looked to expand beyond South Florida, Atlanta felt like a natural next step for the brand.”

The brand will also be expanding to San Juan, Puerto Rico, this year. The Puerto Rico and Atlanta locations will mark the eighth and ninth locations for the brand, following an upcoming opening at Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise, Fla., this month.

The forthcoming Phipps Plaza location will offer CVI.CHE 105’s signature design, with vibrant, modern and Peruvian-inspired elements. It will also reflect design touches specific to the Atlanta location.

Chipoco launched CVI.CHE 105 in Downtown Miami in 2008. Now, it has multiple locations across South Florida. The forthcoming Atlanta location will be an important step in expansion for the brand beyond Florida.

“Our focus remains on thoughtful, strategic growth while maintaining the quality and authenticity that have defined CVI.CHE 105 for more than 17 years,” Chipoco shared in a statement. “Long term, our goal is to continue growing the brand across select markets in the U.S. and the Caribbean while remaining rooted in our Peruvian heritage and commitment to excellence.”
