More Fluffy Fluffy locations are headed to Georgia.

The dessert café known for its souffle pancakes recently had its soft opening in Buford at 2925 Buford Drive. A Tucker location is expected to open in mid-2024.

This isn’t the brand’s first foray into Georgia; Fluffy Fluffy also opened in Duluth last December.

Founder and Director of Business Development Benson Lau told What Now Atlanta that the metropolitan area’s large population, diversity and willingness to accept and embrace different cultures made it a great next place for the growth of Fluffy Fluffy, which he founded in 2018.

In addition to souffle pancakes, the menu includes croffles, burnt-top cheesecake, roll cake, macarons, lattes and specialty sodas. Despite the decadence that might come to mind when you think of souffle pancakes, the dish is a relatively high-protein, low-sugar dessert option, with most of the pancake being made from egg whites, Lau said.

Fluffy Fluffy, known as Fuwa Fuwa in its international locations, currently has 30 locations open abroad, three in the U.S., and 20 in development.

“We are planning to open more locations in Atlanta,” Lau said. “For example, somewhere in Midtown would be a great area to open more locations. Atlanta, with its population, has a lot of potential to have more Fluffy Fluffy.”
