Flying Biscuit Café is slated to serve its Southern-comfort food at The POINTE, Buford’s new commercial hub currently in development by Ariston Group, LLC.

On Wednesday, Ariston Group kicked off construction on what will be home to approximately 26,000 square feet of dining and service retail, as reported by What Now Atlanta. The POINTE joins a Hilton Garden Inn hotel and two luxury residential communities, The Ivy at Ariston and The Enzo at Ariston.

Currently, Flying Biscuit is wrapping up its architectural plans for what will soon become a 3,500 square-foot ground floor suite. They will then begin taking bids from a contractor once those plans are set, franchise owner Bradley Rubenstein told What Now Atlanta.

Rubenstein operates several other Flying Biscuit locations in the Atlanta metro area, including Peachtree Corners, Roswell, and Kennesaw.

“We have some customers already that drive all the way from Peachtree Corners and they’ve been telling us for yours we need to come to Buford,” Rubenstein said regarding his choice to open in The POINTE. “It’s been growing for a long time. When we met with the developer, we were really impressed with the project”

Founded in Atlanta, the 20-year-old café chain is now scattered across the Southeast, where they have become famous for their biscuits, grits, chicken and waffles and other Southern-style cuisine. Per their website, they claim to bake almost 5,000 biscuits per week at each location. The café also serves all-day breakfast, lunch and dinner.
