‘Mex-Tex’ concept opening in Krog Street Market

Just two months after opening St. Cecilia in Buckhead, Chef Ford Fry has filed plans to start construction on his sixth restaurant, Superica, scheduled to open in Krog Street Market this spring.

The official permit was filed in Atlanta this week, citing approximately $1.1 million in building costs to create an almost 5,000-square-foot space.

Superica (which means “really good” or “rich”) will be a casual “Mex-Tex” restaurant featuring Austin, Texas-inspired Mexican food, wood-fired grills, and an indoor/outdoor patio area.
