Four Fat Cows, an ice cream shop with locations in Athens, Alpharetta, Dunwoody, and Marietta, later this year will open on Pharr Road in Buckhead.

It will replace Karma Daisy—Cookie Studio before that—which has since relocated to inside its nearby sister concept Karma Farm.

“As we were building out Karma Farm (which is our dream concept) we took over the Cookie Studio (added organic breakfast and lunch and renamed it Karma Daisy) next door as a favor to the landlord really,” Scott Wilder, co-owner of Karma Farm, told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in an email Wednesday.

“Running that spot was never part of the plan but turned out to be a really amazing learning experience.”

When the lease for the Karma Daisy space came up in February, Wilder did not renew it.

Karma Farm has “become really popular,” according to Wilder, who is now eyeing spaces for a second location, either in Midtown or Old Fourth Ward.

Four Fat Cows is putting the Buckhead space to good use.

It will act as a production facility for the company’s ice cream and pastries with a retail storefront and is expected to open late-August, Co-Owner Robyn Rowles in a telephone interview Thursday told WNA.

Rowles and her son Brenden Higbee run the business together.

The mother-son team are also launching a smoothie and juice concept later this year in Marietta called Pulp Addiction.

It will be housed in Marietta Square Market.
