Fox Bros. Restaurant Group is moving forward with plans to expand Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q’s catering business.

Brother team Jonathan and Justin Fox submitted a building permit application to City of Atlanta Thursday for commercial alterations to warehouse space, at 126 Ottley Drive NE, for a new catering and commissary kitchen (the barbecue restaurant itself is at 1238 Dekalb Ave NE.)

The Fox brothers shuttered their Decatur concept Big Tex last week to focus on increasing the restaurant’s catering services.

A lease for the new catering and commissary space was first executed Sept. 5, according to a tweet and Instagram post from the restaurant.

An estimated $620,000 will be spent retrofitting the warehouse space into the new commercial kitchen.
