Georgetown Cupcakes’ First Atlanta Store Opening March 7

Bakery celebrating its expansion into Atlanta with free cupcakes.

D.C.-based Georgetown Cupcakes will open in the Buckhead Atlanta development Saturday, March 7, the bakery announced in a press release Monday.

“In celebration of our grand opening, Georgetown Cupcake Buckhead will be giving away one FREE cupcake per person (any flavor!) all day long, on opening day, from 12:00pm – 9:00pm,” according to the announcement.

The cupcake shop, at 267 East Paces Ferry Road NE, will be the brand’s sixth location. Georgetown has stores in Georgetown, Bethesda, New York, Boston, and Los Angeles, according to the bakery’s website.

Georgetown will be serving up several new flavors at the soon-to-open Buckhead store including Chocolate Mint Crunch, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Twist, Mocha Chocolate Chip Cheesecake, and Cherry Blossom.
