The restaurant’s last day in business is May 31.

Goldfish, a seafood restaurant in front of Perimeter Mall, won’t renew its lease, parent company Here to Serve Restaurants announced in a press release Friday.

“We at Here to Serve are proud of Goldfish’s success over the last 15 years and its excellent reputation in the Dunwoody community,” Leigh Catherall, the restaurant group’s CEO, said in the prepared statement.

“Our decision to forgo lease renewal was made after careful consideration, and ultimately, we felt this decision will allow us to pursue other opportunities and new ventures.”

After 15 years in business, Goldfish will close its doors on May 31 following a “month-long farewell celebration.”

Farewell Promotion Specials include:

  • 15% off all food items on Sundays and Mondays
  • “Throw Back” Tuesday – Half-price fish and steaks each Tuesday
  • Live music on Thursday and Friday
  • Appearances by well-loved corporate Sushi Chef Jimmy Meas on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
  • Seafood boils on select Sundays

In addition, Goldfish will donate a portion of its sales during May to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s Scottish Rite Hospital is located in the Perimeter Mall area, near Goldfish.

No word on what will take Goldfish’s place.

  • Looks like Cowfish is moving in. Good concept, and better sushi than I’ve had anywhere here besides Miso Izakaya.
