Gusto!, a fast-casual concept based in Atlanta, could expand with a new location in Atlanta’s Upper Westside.

Plans were filed in Atlanta to bring the restaurant to 901 Chattahoochee Ave. NW.

If the deal is finalized, it would join the growing dining and entertainment district along Chattahoochee Ave., which includes The Works development and several breweries.

According to plans, the project would demolish an existing building at 901 Chattahoochee Ave. A new 2,250-square-foot building would be built in its place.

The restaurant would include a drive-through window, according to documents from the Atlanta BeltLine’s Design Review Committee. The project went before the DRC in August.

Nate Hybl founded Gusto! in 2014. It currently has 10 locations in Georgia, according to its website

Late last year, Hybl detailed the company’s expansion plans, saying he hoped to increase the deal pipeline significantly.

“Our growth has been intentional and organic,” Hybl said at that time. “We’re always humbled by the response our customers have to our shops, our food, our people and our passion for delivering fresh, flavorful offerings that are easy to get. We’re choosing our next locations wisely, intent on growing our footprint so we can reach more people.”

A representative for Gusto! couldn’t be immediately reach for comment on the new location.

  • I was concerned at first about an additional standalone building on Chattahoochee but if integrated well with the Quick Trip parking lot it could actually help since Gusto does not seem to be a high volume eatery.
