Harry and Sons is getting a brand new look and name.

The Thai eatery from the same owners as nearby Surin of Thailand will reopen as Oceanwave in April.

It will be similar to Harry and Sons in the Thai food and sushi that it serves.

Harry and Sons quietly closed its doors, at 820 North Highland Avenue NE, in mid-October 2018 ahead of the renovations.

Expect an updated, more modern interior and a now-enclosed back patio.

  • Why the name change?! This kills the Harry & Sons legacy and reputation. Even the new logo design is bad. I am a long time customer and love you guys but this is a horrible idea. Hope us long time customers will keep you going…

    • I agree with Jess, keep the Harry & Sons name. I’ve been going to Harry &Sons since 2000, great sushi and love the folks. The new name is stupid, belongs in one of these contrived neighborhoods that keep poping up around Atlanta.

    “Welcome back, Oceanwave!”
