Restaurant group closed for “reorganization” last night with no reopening dates set.

Ten restaurants in the Atlanta area will not open today after restaurant group Here to Serve closed for reorganization yesterday, according to a statement on the company’s website.

“We apologize for the inconvenience, we are working on reorganization. We hope to be here to serve you again soon,” the front page of the website reads.

Here to Serve owns Prime, Strip, Noche, Twist, Smash Kitchen, Coast Seafood, Shucks Oyster, and Wine Bar. Aja, the ownership group’s asian eatery in Buckhead, closed abruptly last month.

Part of the problems could be due to payroll and tax issues, according to an email obtained by 11 Alive. The report also states that some employees have not been paid for weeks of work.

Here to Serve has not yet said how long the restaurants will be closed or if the closures will be permanent.

Representatives of the restaurant group did not immediately respond to inquires seeking comment. We will provide additional information as soon as it becomes available.
