UPDATE (November 23, 2016): Will Bantam Pub’s Sister Concept Be Called ‘The Boulevard’?

Since the end of last year, Atlantans have been wondering what the future holds for the formerly planned Bad Dog Taqueria outpost on Edgewood Avenue.

With owner Tracy Mitchell’s arrest and charges of first-degree homicide by vehicle, reckless driving, and two counts of hit-and-run last fall, and the subsequent rise and fall of the Emory Village flagship’s rebrand as Dankbaar Taco, there’s been no word on the status of the second location – until now.

A Facebook post from Cygnet Properties, LLC indicates that Tim Lance, owner of Bantam Pub and Cabbage Pie has executed a lease to occupy the spot at the corner of Edgewood & Boulevard (476 Edgewood) in addition to the upstairs unit (480 Edgewood).

No word yet on what Lance plans to do at the location, but details will be posted as they are available.

  • Tracy R Mitchell is a murder and a psychopath. Hopefully this is not yet another business that she is associated with. If it is however I encourage everyone to boycott this establishment and put it out of business just like her other failed restaurants. Murderers should never prosper. Send this criminal to jail where she belongs. Atlanta does not need this human garbage!
