Hot Dog Pete’s and Hero Doughnuts Slated For Fall Debut In Summerhill

Nick Pihakis, co-founder of Jim N’ Nick’s Bar-B-Q, and Jeremy and Tammy Chambers, the Atlanta operators of the Alabama-based chain, are partnering up to bring Hot Dog Pete’s and Hero Doughnuts to Atlanta.

The hotdog eatery and the doughnut shop later this year will open in Cater’s Summerhill development on Georgia Avenue.

Hot Dog Pete’s and Hero Doughnuts will be adjacent to one another and will open in August and October, respectively.

Hot Dog Pete’s, at 25 Georgia Avenue SE, will be 780 square feet with a 748-square-foot patio.

Hero Doughnuts, at 33A Georgia Ave SE, will serve doughnuts, sandwiches, burgers, and custard out of a 1,872-square-foot space with a 1,664-square-foot patio.

Jeremy Chambers told What Now Atlanta in an email Monday renderings could be available in the next few weeks.
