Update (Dec. 1): Is Atlanta ready to ditch coffee for tea? Click here to read updated details about Houqua TeaRoom!

Saba restaurant, the pasta joint located at 1451 Oxford road in Emory Village, is getting a new roomie. Well, kinda.

It’s called Houqua TeaRoom and it’s taking space in what seems to be the basement of Saba restaurant. There’s even a “For Rent” sign in the window promoting the “One bed, one bath.”

Staff at Saba say the restaurant will offer “fine teas from around the world,” in a coffeehouse type setting with wireless.

Andrew, said owner of Houqua, won’t contact us for all the tea in China. His cell number, displayed on the green banner that went up days ago promoting the new business, is 404.717.2931.

We’re hoping our readers will be successful in extracting information, so go ahead, give him a call! And until then, he’s nothing but a teabagger. You know, someone who carries large bags of packaged tea for shipment.

More details when Andy gets back to us. Stay tuned.
