The news was announced on the restauranteur’s Instagram page.

Hugh Acheson, the restauranteur behind Five and Ten, The National, Empire State South, and The Florence, has plans to open Spiller Park Coffee in Ponce City Market.

Acheson announced the news on Instagram Thursday.

“Spiller Park Coffee Shop is coming together,” Acheson posted with a snapshot of the coffee house’s menu.

Acheson also tagged Dale B. Donchey in the post. Donchey currently runs the coffee program at Empire State South.

Spiller Park will serve Four Barrel Coffee out of San Fransisco whose beans come from Latin America, Indonesia, and East Africa.

  • I think this sounds great. I love Dancing goat and believe this location can sustain more than 1 coffee shop.
