Atlanta-based fast-casual brand Hungry AF is planning a new location at 842 M.L.K. Jr. Dr. SW, according to a recently filed permit. The spot will take a 1,439-square-foot space that formerly belonged to a barber shop, with plans to build out a takeout-only restaurant.
Hungry AF has been expanding in the area since founders Anthony “Kodak” Harris, Chris Berry and Kevin Edwards launched the brand in 2022. It now has locations on Greenbriar Parkway and Piedmont Avenue, as well as spots in Decatur, Kennesaw, Smyrna, Stonecrest and South Fulton.
The brand has become known for its fusion menu featuring “world famous pasta,” signature wings, Philly cheesesteaks, hibachi rice and smash burgers.
This location is not the only spot in the works. Last year, What Now Atlanta reported on planned locations in Buckhead, Conyers and Marietta.
What Now Atlanta has reached out to the ownership team for additional details on the forthcoming location along M.L.K. Jr. Drive. An opening timeline remains unclear at this time, though it appears that the spot is still in the early stages of development.
