The Plaza on Ponce will soon be home to Atlanta’s second Insomnia Cookies storefront, joining an existing location in Midtown.

The cookie delivery company will occupy suite 2-F in the Poncey-Highland shopping center, at 700 Cleburne Terrace NE, according to a request Monday seeking general contractor bids to build out the shop.

Contractors have until January 18 at 5 p.m. to answer the request.

The 589-square-foot space that will house the cookie delivery company is situated between the now-shuttered Preservation Reef and the Majestic Diner, according to the center’s latest site plan materials.

In addition to the new bakery, The Plaza on Ponce is undergoing a revitalization after being acquired by Charlotte-based Asana Partners.

Insomnia Cookies will have four storefronts in Georgia with the addition of the Poncey-Highland location.
