Owner confronts rumors confirming they’re true. Kind of.
Rumors have been in circulation that Molly Gunn, owner of The Porter Beer bar, is opening a location on the Westside.
We met with Gunn and asked her to shed some light on that rumor.
“We are aggressively looking for locations on the Westside but no lease has been signed and nothing has been confirmed.”
Gunn added that she has been approached by a developer in West Midtown and is in love with the space but there is no lease at this time.
Fans of The Porter should expect a second location upwards of one to two years according to Gunn.
“Atlanta should start getting thirsty but not too thirsty.”
The Porter Beer Bar is located at 1156 Euclid Avenue in Atlanta’s Little Five Points.
I would LOVE this…the Westside just keeps getting better and better (if it happens)
