Plans Monday were filed for the takeout only version of the chef’s carni-food restaurant.

The multi-talented Jim Stacy, Emmy-winning television host, restauranteur, chef, artist, musician, writer and comedian, is moving forward with the takeout-only version of his Avondale Estates eatery Pallookaville Fine Foods.

Stacy Monday filed plans with City of Atlanta to buildout Pallookaville Junior in Little 5 Points, at 1147 Euclid Avenue NE, is space formerly occupied by Headlines Hair Studio, adjacent 7 Stage Theatre and Java Lords.

Stacy opened “carni-food” restaurant Pallookaville in Avondale Estates in 2013 after selling Star Community Bar and running the Starlight Drive-in Theatre.

Pallookaville Junior will dish up items like poutine, pimento cheese, corn dogs, frankfurters, salads, and sandwiches.

An estimated $80,000 will be spent converting the 435-square-foot space into the quick-service restaurant.

Stacy was not immediately available for comment.

  • Recently went for a quick meal fathers day and spend $50+ . I was not expecting those prices for quality of food or quantity. Wanted a veggie sub w/o cheese but ran out of hummus and had no other dairy free choice. Maybe will go back vegan milkshakes. Maybe
