Bar crew plans to flip animal clinic into a biergarten, Creative Loafing (CL) Atlanta reports.

The former Edgewood Animal Clinic space, at 420 Edgewood Ave., could soon become a “Southern take on a classic biergarten.”

The owners of Joystick Gamebar in the Old Fourth Ward told CL this week they have plans to open Georgia Beer Garden there.

The space, “an exclusive platform for Georgia breweries,” is slated to open in summer 2015.

“We can keep it secret no longer,” Joystick posted to its Facebook after CL published the breaking news Monday.

“We are working on opening a beer garden across the street from Joystick…we look forward to updating everyone as we get deeper into this project.”
