UPDATE (Sept. 28, 2018): [Renderings] Kevin Gillespie’s ‘Cold Beer’ Forging Forward with $1.7 MM Build Out
Kevin Gillespie is opening a new cocktail bar and beer garden called Cold Beer, according to Eater Atlanta.
The Beltline-adjacent concept will be situated in the retail portion of the forthcoming 75 Airline mixed-use development, a joint venture between Vantage Realty Partners and North American Properties (NAP).
NAP—Atlantic Station, Avalon, Colony Square—is constructing the project, at 75 Airline Street, and will own the residential piece (Edge On The Beltline), Chris Carter with Vantage Tuesday confirmed via text with What Now Atlanta (WNA).
Vantage will own the restaurant, retail, and office components, he said.
Cold Beer will occupy 4,000 square feet of the project’s 28,000 square feet of available space and will feature three Beltline-facing patios (an additional 5,000 square feet, 2,500 of which is a rooftop patio overlooking the Beltline.)
Shake Shack and wine and coffee bar Hazel Jane’s are also confirmed for the project.
Hazel Jane’s Wine & Coffee is the latest concept from Revelator, according to a press release Tuesday.
The day-to-night location features a full-service kitchen, a coffee and espresso counter, a large central bar in the heart of the space, and a BeltLine adjacent patio and bottle shop.
Construction on the Old Fourth Ward spaces are set to begin mid-2018 with grand openings slated for mid-2019.
Two retail spots remain consisting of 2,356 square feet and 1,693 square feet (or could be combined for a 4,049-square feet space), one 5,621-square foot restaurant space and a 2,600-square foot to 7,500-square foot loft office space.
