3 Upcoming Atlanta Restaurants Revealed Last Week
The announcements highlight a mix of bakery, butcher, and beverage concepts slated to open across the Atlanta area. Here’s a look at the upcoming restaurants that were revealed last week by WhatNow:
Kinship Butcher & Sundry

Known for their butcher and eatery mix, husband and wife team Myles Moody and Rachael Pack are ready for something new. Following Farm Burger’s planned closure of its North Highland Avenue location, the couple intends to take over the space for their next concept.
The space is expected to become available by the end of the month, though details on the new concept have not yet been disclosed.
Currently, the couple operates Kinship Butcher & Sundry in Virginia-Highland. The farmers market–driven grocery store and butcher counter has built a following for its sandwiches and curated specialty items. Read more about the upcoming opening here.
Sammy’s Boba and Coffee

After years of working in the industry, Sam Beng is ready to take a step forward and open his own place. That experience led to the creation of Sammy’s Boba and Coffee, which is expected to open in late January 2026. Located at 1762 Hudson Bridge Road in Stockbridge, the shop aims to serve as a ‘third space’, a casual gathering spot outside of home and work.
Spread across a 1,700-square-foot space, the new store will offer boba tea, coffee, and several snacking options. The layout is designed to accommodate studying, casual meetings, and neighborhood hangouts. Know more about the upcoming concept here.
Lala

Arriving at 165 North Perry Street is pastry chef Ricky Saucedo’s upcoming concept, Lala. The concept reflects Saucedo’s personal journey as a pastry chef and the influences that shaped his career. Taking over a 2,700-square-foot space, the concept features several design touches to pay homage to family members.
The all-day bakery will spotlight cinnamon rolls and other pastries, with cocktails offered in the evening. Saucedo will also bring popular menu items from his pop-ups and has plans to expand soon. Know more about this opening here.
Atlanta continues to witness growth in the culinary industry, with new concepts brewing under covers. As new restaurants continue to be revealed, anticipation continues to build among locals and visitors.
