Husband-and-wife pair Myles Moody and Rachael Pack, the team behind Kinship Butcher & Sundry, have plans for a new restaurant in Virginia-Highland. The announcement comes in light of Farm Burger’s plans to close its location at 1017 North Highland Avenue Northeast at the end of December.
“We have loved being part of this community and are so grateful for everyone who has dined with us over the years,” George Frangos, co-founder of Farm Burger, said in a release. “From helping start the Virginia-Highland Farmers Market and hosting Winterfest and Porchfest events to meeting so many great families and hiring their kids, it has been an amazing experience to be part of this neighborhood. This historic and iconic corner is special and I can’t wait for locals to experience its next chapter. As we pass over the keys to our friends around the corner, I can confidently say their new restaurant will celebrate the same spirit that makes this neighborhood unique and it is a decision we feel great about making.”
Farm Burger still has three other locations open in Metro Atlanta.
Moody and Pack operate Kinship Butcher & Sundry in Virginia-Highland. The spot serves as a farmers-market-driven grocery store and butcher counter. It is known for serving breakfast and lunch sandwiches as well as natural wines, market provisions and fresh produce. The team is also behind k|n, their fine-dining tasting menu.
As of now, Moody and Pack have not released further details about what concept they expect to bring to the space. More details are forthcoming in 2026.
The Kinship team also has plans to open a location in Grant Park next fall.
