A restaurant located along the BeltLine could be expanding to a new location.

According to plans filed with the city, Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall is planning a location at 690 11th Street. The site is located in West Midtown at the Star Metals District.

Ladybird can currently be found on the BeltLine at 684 John Wesley Dobbs Avenue NE, north of Krog Street Market. It celebrated 10 years in business in October, having opened in 2014 along the BeltLine Eastside Trail and expanding and renovating several years later.

Ladybird offers “elevated campfire cuisine, outdoors appreciation, and gathering with good company,” according to the website. It’s named after Claudia Alta “Lady Bird” Johnson, the wife of Lyndon B. Johnson and the First Lady from 1963 to 1969. The menu includes brunch, lunch and dinner, with shareable bites called “Trail Snacks,” keeping with the outdoorsy theme. The beverage program includes cocktails, wine and craft beer.

Plans indicate that the new 14,000-square-foot location in West Midtown would include outdoor seating, an events/game area, and an off-leash dog park.

Ladybird Grove & Mess Hall is part of Electric Hospitality.
