Steve Josovitz of The Shumacher Group announced that Taste of Greece’s former location in Peachtree Corners has been sold to Latin Fresh.
Besides the obvious fact that it will be a Latin restaurant, not much else is known about the forthcoming concept.
Earlier this year, Taste of Greece left its location at 4941 S Old Peachtree Rd for the former Bareburger Midtown location on Peachtree Street NE. Steps from the Fox Theatre, the new Greek eatery opened today at 7 AM as a full-service restaurant and bar. Serving authentic Greek cuisine, Taste of Greece features all-day breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night dining.
“715 Peachtree Street, NE!! See you Friday at 7AM! Midtown Atlanta, here we go!” a message posted yesterday to Facebook read.
The Peachtree Corners space is part of a retail strip that’s anchored by Dunkin Donuts and adjacent to a Starbucks. The incoming Latin Fresh will have seating for nearly 80 guests, plus a bar that looks into an open exhibition kitchen.
What Now Atlanta will have more information as it becomes available.
