Le Petit Marche has new legs to stand on thanks to Atlanta Breakfast Club Owners Osiris Ballard and Chef Anthony Sanders.
“Just when you think you know how things will turn out, life sometimes gives you another surprise,” Le Petit Marche posted to Instagram on Tuesday. “Le Petit Marche has new owners.”
In the video, Let Petit Marche’s Marchet Sparks announced the big news and welcomed the new owners to their new spot.
After 13 years Le Petit Marche closed on March 31 and soon after Sparks said she reached out to the Atlanta Breakfast Club owners to see if they would be interested. Not only were they interested, but they wanted to leave the breakfast and dining spot exactly the way it is.
“They were interested in preserving its legacy,” she said. “They are going to be taking over operations and keeping the dream alive. Your favorites will remain. The vibe will still be funky and family-filled. It’s a win for all.”
The gourmet market and cafe opened in Kirkwood in 2008 and has since become a staple for the community.
Ballard and Sanders opened ABC Chicken & Waffles – Nitro Coffee Counter, a second branch of Atlanta Breakfast Club, late last year as they continue to expand their footprint in the Atlanta restaurant scene.
Sanders requested for What Now Atlanta to speak with Sparks about the news when reached for comment but she did not reach out in time of publication.
Maybe they’ll make the food tolerable. Place was a joke before.
Yes, 13 years of success was all due to crappy food. SMH
