It turns out that RA Sushi Bar Restaurant won’t shutter its 1010 Midtown location after all.
What Now Atlanta (WNA) Friday reported that the Japanese-inspired eatery could be closing sourcing a recently-updated site plan for the development where RA Sushi is housed, showing the restaurant space as “coming available” for lease.
The update was a mistake, a representative with The Shopping Center Group, the firm leasing 1010 Midtown’s ground-level retail, Sunday told WNA in an email.
“It was an error by our administrative assistant and [the space] is not coming available,” they said.
“RA [Sushi] is obviously very upset and has requested an immediate correction.”
Scottsdale, Arizona-based RA Sushi has still not responded to WNA’s request for comment.
Silverlake Ramen, however, is opening in adjacent space as previously reported.
The Los Angeles-based Japanese eatery last week filed plans with the City of Atlanta to begin building out its future home joining the recently-opened Sugar Factory next door.
