Atlanta’s popular restaurant EATS reopened March 12 at Wild Heaven Beer’s West End brewery in the Lee + White development. The reopening comes after Wild Heaven Beer acquired the longtime local brand at the end of 2025.

EATS Returns to Atlanta’s Culinary Scene

EATS had been a neighborhood staple on Ponce de Leon Avenue for three decades. With its casual setting and affordable menu, the restaurant drew loyal customers for more than thirty years. The restaurant, however, shut down on October 18, 2025, ending a long run at the iconic location.

The reopening follows a January announcement that Wild Heaven Beer would bring the longtime Atlanta restaurant back at its West End brewery.

EATS is now open in West Atlanta, bringing its familiar menu, longtime manager, and original spirit to a new home.

A Nostalgic Atmosphere

The experience at EATS will be familiar for fans, who will find longtime manager Levi Nichols working with the same culinary team from over the years. Many dishes will also be prepared using equipment from the former Ponce location.

he seating area features refurbished furniture brought over from the previous location. The walls of the restaurant are lined with license plates and memorabilia donated by the loyal customers. Its iconic neon sign, which was fabricated by Atlanta’s own Neon Company over three decades ago, has been restored.

The restored sign now hangs inside the brewery. “EATS has always been about consistency, value, and food people come back for again and again,” said Wild Heaven Co-President Nick Purdy.

“When the opportunity came to keep that alive, we took it seriously. The same kitchen team led by Levi Nichols is here, much of the original equipment is still in use, and we’ve even brought over furniture and memorabilia from the Ponce location. The goal was simple: when people walk in, it should feel like EATS,” Purdy added.

EATS has long been known for serving classic dishes at affordable prices, a tradition it continues at its West End location. The opening menu remains the same, with no items’ prices increasing by more than $1.

Several longtime favorites are still on the menu, including the popular EATS Special – a half jerk chicken still priced at $11. The menu continues to feature several of the restaurant’s longtime comfort-food favorites. These comfort classics include Pesto Tortellini, Ziti Alfredo with Chicken, BBQ Chicken, and Spaghetti with Meatballs.

The eatery also offers vegan-friendly options. The restaurant is located at 1010 White St SW in Atlanta’s West End. Hours begin at 11 a.m. daily, closing at 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The reopening gives longtime fans a chance to revisit a familiar favorite while introducing the classic EATS experience to a new neighborhood.
