When 365 by Whole Foods Market opens in Paces Ferry Plaza later this year, the grocery store will be home to Loteria Grill.

Plans were recently filed with the City of Atlanta to build out the 1,288-square-foot restaurant in the under-construction 365.

The restaurant could be part of the “Friends of 365” program where the grocer opens independently-operated concepts inside its stores across the country.

Loteria Grill will have a 784-square-foot commercial kitchen and 504 square feet of seating, according to the plans.

An estimated $200,000 is expected to be spent on the restaurant’s build out.

It’s unclear if the Loteria Grill coming to 365 by Whole Foods Market is from Jimmy Shaw, the owner of a three-restaurant chain in Los Angeles by the same name.

Shaw did not immediately respond to What Now Atlanta’s (WNA) requests for comment.

The name could be coincidental and the planned Loteria Grill might not be a Friends of 365 restaurant.

Whole Foods has been opening its own restaurants.

For example, in the Midtown Place store, the grocery chain launched The Roast.

A Whole Foods Market spokesperson, when reached Monday by WNA for comment, did not have “any information to share with you at this time, but will keep you posted.”
