‘Gourmet fruit house’ opening third location at Avalon.
Our favorite smoothie and sandwich shop LottaFrutta is opening a third metro-Atlanta location.
The “gourmet fruit house” will start serving up its Pan Latin fruit cups, smoothies and sandwiches in Alpharetta’s Avalon development, Mark Toro of North American Properties, the mixed-use project’s developer, announced on his Instagram page Sunday.
“@imperezident, look who’s coming to @avaloninsider,” Toro said in his post. Myrna Perez-Cifuentes, LottaFrutta’s owner, goes by the Instagram handle “@imperezident.”
Avalon, the Alpharetta 86-acre development with more than 500,000 square feet of retail, a 12-screen all premium theater, a full-service hotel (coming in Phase II), Class A office, single-family residences and luxury rental homes, will celebrate its grand opening Oct. 30 – Nov. 2.
Most of Avalon’s restaurant and retail tenants will be open for the grand opening celebration. LottaFrutta will be joining the development in Spring 2015, according to signage at the space.
LottaFrutta opened its second location at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in June 2013. The gourmet fruit house’s first location is nestled in Old Fourth Ward on Auburn Avenue.
