The aptly named ‘Mashburn Coffee’ would join Sid Mashburn and Ann Mashburn in Westside Provisions District.
Another Westside Provisions District (WSPD) space might soon adorn the Mashburn name.
But unlike the Sid Mashburn and Ann Mashburn stores, the goods inside most likely will be comestible.
Plans filed with City of Atlanta Wednesday call for the buildout of “Mashburn Coffee” in the West Midtown mixed-use development.
The permit has an “A1 Restaurant” Scope Code and calls for $75,000 in construction to suite 109, a 1,816-square-foot space.
Suite 109—an adjacent space to the Ann Mashburn store—is currently occupied by G. Gilbert, a woman’s boutique.
A Sid / Ann Mashburn spokesperson in a telephone interview with What Now Atlanta (WNA) said plans for Mashburn Coffee were being drawn up and are preliminary at best.
She would not comment on what the concept would entail and asked WNA to circle back around in a few months.
WSPD representatives are also keeping a tight lid on the project, declining to comment or share the development’s latest leasing materials.
Developing…
Great because we don’t already have Revelator, Brash, Octane, Urban Grind, Amelie’s and maybe even Little Star Provisions to provide the whole westside with coffee.
