CNN Center restaurant files permits for remodel.
McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant is renovating their Downtown location.
The restaurant — known for an ever-changing menu printed twice daily — at 190 Marietta Street inside the CNN Center filed a permit with the city of Atlanta early June to begin the renovation process.
McCormick & Schmick’s will undergo renovations to it’s “dining areas only,” according to the permit.
The restaurant first opened at the CNN Center in November, 2002. Of the restaurant’s 80 locations, only two are located in Georgia. The second is on Ashwood Parkway.
Each McCormick & Schmick’s restaurant is designed differently with the area in which it’s located in mind, according to the restaurant’s website.
McCormick & Schmick’s was contacted several times for comment but did not immediately respond.
