A popular local café is relocating, but remaining in McDonough.

Leo’s Cafe is moving this summer to 148 John Frank Ward Boulevard at the space formerly occupied by Baby Jane’s Home Cooking, east of McDonough Square. The space is larger than their current one at 232 Racetrack Road.

Originally opened in 2018, Leo’s Cafe is known for serving classic breakfast and lunch food, like omelettes, eggs benedict, sandwiches and salads. In recent reviews, diners have praised the restaurant’s good service, wide variety of items, large portions, and reasonable prices.

The restaurant has expanded into reservation-based dinner service, offering entrees like garlic & herb pork chops, chicken parmesan, chicken marsala, and steak. Leo’s Cafe also offers catering services.

Owner Leonardo Hernandez told What Now Atlanta they are targeting a July 2025 opening at the new space.
