Mellow Mushroom closed its location at 340 West Ponce de Leon Avenue suddenly in June.

“It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closure of Mellow Mushroom Decatur. It has been an absolute pleasure working in this community and we will miss being able to be your go-to pizza place! We love you all and thank you for the years of joy you have brought to our Mellow team,” the Mellow Mushroom Decatur location posted on its Instagram page at the time.

However, the spot is reopening this fall as a company-owned location, according to Eater Atlanta. The spot is undergoing a refresh and will open with a to-go window and new bar.

Mellow Mushroom has more than 160 locations across the country. The menu offers a variety of pizzas as well as wings, salads, burgers, drinks and munchies such as pretzel bites and loaded queso dip. It also offers plant-based and gluten-free options.

The company has not yet made an official announcement on the location’s Instagram page.
