Local dessert spot MeltAway has a new location in the works. It will open in a 680-square-foot space at Brighten Park at 2480 Briarcliff Road, according to Tomorrow’s News Today Atlanta.

This spot is the first expansion for the brand. The first location opened earlier this year at The Village at Flynn Crossing.

MeltAway describes itself as “a premium dessert shop” on its website. The spot offers small-batch handcrafted ice cream made in-house with all-natural ingredients. It also serves freshly baked cookies alongside the ice cream offerings.

“At MeltAway, we’re passionate about quality, freshness and creating a memorable dessert experience that brings joy to every bite,” the website states.

Ice cream options include milky chocolate, earl grey cranberry, key lime pie, goat cheese and cherries, creamy pistachio and pineapple sorbet. MeltAway offers cookie options like buttery cornflakes, pretzel chocolate chips, coconut caramel chocolate and salted pecan chocolate.

There is also a limited drink menu featuring chai tea lattes, Thai tea lattes, matcha lattes and fruit teas.
