Chef Mihoko Obunai over the weekend opened Mihoko’s Method Bone Broth in The Irwin Street Market.
The cafe-like bone broth concept, announced in September, was open for the first time Saturday, Obunai told What Now Atlanta in an email.
Obunai was originally aiming for a September debut.
“I have designed the broth packaging and the website myself,” Obunai said.
“That took time but I am happy that everything finally came together and is as good as my broth.”
Broths, available in chicken, beef, vegetable, and a pet-friendly option, are available in 10-ounce cups or 20-ounce spouted pouches.
Small batches of “boutique broth,” seasonal broths not on the menu, will be available until “it sells out.”
Mihoko’s Method can be ordered online with free delivery for purchases of $50 or more or through Bag’d Atlanta.
In The Irwin Street Market, the “broth bar” is open Friday and Saturday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
