A new restaurant is coming to West Midtown.
A concept called Füm is planned for the Star Metals District, according to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta. According to the application, the estimated cost of construction on the 5,053-square-foot space is $2.7 million.
The buildout is slated to include a full-service kitchen, a pasta room, a dry ager and a bar. “The coffee bar is run by the restaurant tenant, but is open to the residential amenity lobby,” according to the application. The restaurant will be located at the recently opened Stella at Star Metals luxury apartment building at 660 11th St NW.
What Now Atlanta contacted Stella at Star Metals owner The Allen Morris Company to learn more, but no details were able to be shared.
However, it appears that the new restaurant comes from Grassfed Culture Hospitality. The group’s website indicates that they are hiring Atlanta professionals for several positions at “at our new restaurant Füm and our cocktail bar Rabbit Ears both located in the vibrant neighborhood of West Midtown.” Calls for a pastry chef indicate that desserts are also expected on the menu. It’s not clear if Rabbit Ears is part of Füm or located at a separate establishment.
Grassfed Culture Hospitality is based in Miami. The group’s portfolio includes Los Felix, Krüs Kitchen and ZeyZey, all located in Miami.
