Crowne Plaza/Staybridge Suites has been acquired by new ownership, according to alcohol license filings.

The hotel, located at 590 West Peachtree Street in Midtown, was sold to Monomoy Property Ventures and Axonic Capital earlier this month, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. It was formerly managed by IHG Hotels & Resorts. The new ownership is expected to move forward with renovation to the hotel and rebranding, transitioning to a Marriott.

The 25-story hotel offers 462 guest rooms, 34,600 square feet of meeting and event space, four dining spots, a fitness center and a rooftop pool deck. Alcohol licensing paperwork indicates that along with the transaction, the four food and beverage concepts also experienced a change in ownership.

The food and dining concepts include FIRST, the hotel’s breakfast offerings located on the lobby level; NEXT, the hotel’s lobby restaurant and bar with American fare and a laid-back atmosphere; NEXT Bar, which offers local beers and craft cocktails; and Java 590, the on-site coffee shop offering beverages and grab-and-go snacks.
